Data Boundaries · the rules, in writing

In writing, in advance.

Working with Sixblocks does not create a new place for controlled information to live. This page states the rules, in advance, in writing.

What stays in your environment
  • CUI.
  • ITAR-controlled technical data.

Handled only inside your environment, under agreements you control, or not at all. Never in ours. When you bid as a sub and a prime flows controlled material down to you, the same rule holds: it stays in your environment, worked by your team, and we work only from what is releasable.

What we never take
  • Classified material.
  • Another firm's proposal.

Not by exception, not under NDA, not temporarily. No agreement authorizes what a statute forbids.

Default working material is public and pre-award only: past releasable proposals, public solicitations, and published past performance. Your own live bid is worked in your environment, not ours.

One lane at a time

We serve one client at a time in any given competitive lane: one firm, one buyer's market, never two firms who could meet in the same competition. Not because a rule forces the timing, but because the alternative requires an internal wall we are too small to honestly build, and we will not claim a wall that does not exist.

Every statement of work names our current and recent engagements in your lane, in writing, so the conflict check is yours to make with the facts in front of you. If taking your engagement would put us on two sides of the same lane, we will tell you, and you will hear it from us first.

A teammate's material

Many of the firms we serve bid as a subcontractor as often as a prime. A prime's or teammate's proprietary or controlled material is theirs, not yours to hand over and not ours to hold. We work with it only inside an environment its owner controls, under agreements between you and them, or not at all. Nothing a partner shares for one pursuit is ever carried to another, and nothing about a teammate's own bid is worked in ours.

Where the work lives

Work product is built inside your environment, under agreements you control. Sixblocks does not become a repository.

When the engagement ends, nothing needs to be retrieved, because nothing left.

Ownership

The judgment maps, tooling, and training materials produced in an engagement belong to you outright. This is unconditional. It does not depend on any continuing arrangement between us.

If you are compliance-first

If you are compliance-first and CMMC is on your mind, read this page as the point. Working with us does not add a new place for controlled information to live, and it does not add to your compliance surface. The refusal is the credential. The same boundary, shown in the context of the work, is on the Method page.

Book a working session

Not a sales call. Bring one past releasable proposal, keep what we build. No releasable proposal handy? Bring your last three bid or no-bid calls from memory and we will map from those.
